Both Howgills Apartments and Howgills Barn offer self catering Sedbergh, enabling you to bring the food of your choice and providing the flexibility to dine when you want.
Howgills Apartments, Self Catering Sedbergh
Each Apartment offers its own kitchen with hob, oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher*, crockery, cutlery, pots and cooking utensils. We provide the ‘basics’ such as cleaning products, tea towels, toilet rolls, salt/pepper, oil and a welcome pack with milk and biscuits.
*Apartment 12 does not currently have a dishwasher.
Howgills Barn, Self Catering Sedbergh
Howgills Barn has two kitchens for group accommodation, Sedbergh. Each kitchen offers self catering facilities including a commercial dishwasher, a large range hob with double ovens, extractor fans, fridges and freezers plus pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for 35 people. We provide the ‘basics’ such as cleaning products, tea towels, toilet rolls, salt/pepper, oil and a welcome pack with milk and biscuits.
If you are staying at our Barn, you can organise an online food shop through Asda, who will deliver directly to Howgills Barn.
Where to shop for self catering Sedbergh
There is a large Spar store which you will probably pass as you enter Sedbergh. It is a five minute stroll from the Apartments and a 10 minute stroll from the Barn. There are also come lovely small independent shops along Sedbergh High Street selling home baked breads (The Three Hares), fresh fruit and vegetables (Powells) and fresh sandwiches (On a Roll). There is also a Butchers (William Peat Butchers on Finkle Street, just off the main High Street).
